Episode 15 ended with Moon Il Sook planning to kill Jang Tae San on the night or his surgery. Moon Il Sook already in the operating room ready to stab the body lying in the bed.
Episode 16, the final episode, opened the episode with the assassin guy also entering the other operating room (since the lead told them that there are two possible rooms), he then pulled the blanket and saw Han Chi Kook (the old guy helping Tae San all through out the escape and also the assassin's father). Chi Kook confronted his son and told him to stop it, gets the pen cap at the assassin's pocket and put close it with the original pen that Chi Kook had. (the scene is emotional, sorry for the bad description of the scene).
Moon Il Sook then stab the body (covered with the blanket) but the body is just a dummy. The whole thing is planned out so that they can catch Moon Il Sook, but before the police can trap Mon Il Sook, he already fled. Tae San saw him left and followed him. They had a one on one fight and Tae San, being the young and strong guy, beat Moon Il Sook's butt! In the end, Moon Il Sook was arrested.
Congresswoman still proceed with the charity auction with the help of Diretor Im (Moon Il Sook's secretary). However, after the bidding, they are both caught.
Soo Jin's surgery was successful and she lived well.
Summary Ending for Each Character:
Moon Ill Sook - Sentenced for imprisonment. Half of his face was burned and can not see very well. There was a scene where he was in jail and while he was eating his corn rolled and his cellmate instead got it and placed it in his own plate. I think it represents that Moon Il Sook lost all the power he had before.
Congresswomen Jo Seo Hee - Also in jail and reflecting her mistakes.
Assassin Guy - Also in jail.
Han Chi Kook - lived somewhere while waiting for his son's release from jail.
Prosecutor Park Jae Kyung - already received the justice she is longing for 8 years. There was a scene where Oh Min Sook was there (as a spirit) and Jae Kyung asks for forgiveness.
Detective Im Seung Woo - got suspend because of all the wrong things he had done.
Seo In Hye and Soo Jin - Soo Jin lived and having the time of her life. In Hye is also happy that Soo Jin was now cured and lively.
Jang Tae Sang - Got cleared from the all the accusations 8 years ago and the present. He also met Soo Jin in person and happy to be able to se Soo Jin well. He is still trying to slowly reflect on the things he had done in the past and wants Soo Jin to be proud of him someday.
The love story between Tae San and In Hye wasn't continued and Detective Im and In Hye's relationship was also put on hold. They all reason out that they all need time to reflect and think everything that happened throught.
My Final Thoughts:
I personally love this drama! From episode 1 up until the final episode, this drama kept me on my toes! Even though there are no lovey dovey storyline in this drama, I still love it!

Gu Family Book and Two Weeks are the tops for korean dramas for sure! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you guys to watch this drama. It may not be a romantic comedy kind of drama but I assure you that you will surely like this drama as much as I do!
